Hydrate Smarter, Not Harder With a Pure Water Delivery Plan
Hydrate Smarter, Not Harder With a Pure Water Delivery Plan
Working smarter, not harder, applies to water too. The right plan gets clean spring water in your glass without any effort after the first delivery.
We're told to work smarter in every other part of life โ automate the bills, schedule the meetings, batch the errands. But when it comes to drinking water, most of us are still making individual trips to the store with cases of plastic bottles. We carry them home. We stack them in the pantry. We throw the empties away. We do it again next week.
That model was a workaround for an absence: there wasn't a better option for most households. There is now. Glass water delivery is what happens when you apply the same smarter-not-harder principle to hydration that you'd apply to any other essential.
What a Smarter Plan Looks Like
Clean source, verified
Water that comes from a place you can name, in a vessel you can verify, tested by a lab you can read. The plan isn't smart if you're still guessing what's in your glass. Real spring water from a named source โ Oregon's Opal Springs or Alabama's Blue Spring โ with annual third-party lab reports testing for everything modern tap water is contaminated with.
Consolidated delivery
One truck that services 60 homes beats 60 cars each making a separate trip to the store. The carbon math is straightforward. The time math is straightforward. The convenience math is straightforward. The only reason this isn't the default is that single-use plastic got there first, not because it's actually better.
Returnable packaging
Glass that comes back, gets washed, gets refilled. A 2.5 gallon jug that makes 50+ trips beats a single-use plastic bottle that makes one trip and then becomes a problem for 500 years. The smarter plan accounts for what happens to the vessel after you drink the water.
Flexible cadence
Weekly, every two weeks, or every three weeks โ your schedule, not ours. Pause for travel, scale up for guests, scale down for a quiet month. No contracts. No commitments. The plan earns your repeat business by being reliable, on time, and quiet. The 21st-century milkman model.
What Most Plans Get Wrong
The plastic five-gallon cooler. It's the default for home and office water coolers, and it has been for forty years. It's also the worst of all worlds: heavy to lift, made of plastic that sits in the sun on delivery, expensive per gallon, and not particularly clean. We don't recommend this. The cooler companies know it; that's why they keep trying to upsell you to ceramic or glass dispensers.
The point-of-use filter. Under-sink reverse osmosis systems filter tap water down to nothing and then remineralize it (or don't). They're expensive to install, slow, and the filter cartridges need to be replaced on a schedule that most households miss. The water is technically clean, but it has been stripped of the minerals that make spring water taste like spring water.
The case of plastic bottles. Buying bottled water in plastic is the least-smart plan of all. You're paying for the water, the bottle, the truck, the shelf, the cooler, and the eventual landfill space โ every week, forever. The bottle lasts 30 minutes. The plastic lasts 500 years. The math doesn't work in any direction.
What the smart plan actually is
How Alive Water's Plan Works
Step 1 โ Check your ZIP. We deliver in California, Texas, Florida, New York, New Jersey, and Oregon (starting Q4 2026). Drop your ZIP at the top of any page. If we serve your area, we'll show you the schedule.
Step 2 โ Place your first order. Pick a delivery cadence (weekly, every two weeks, every three weeks). Add the glass dispenser ($77), jug ($44), wood stand ($44), and copper spigot ($55) if you need them. The first jug of water is on us.
Step 3 โ Get your delivery. Our driver brings full glass jars, picks up the empties, leaves them on your doorstep or in your building's delivery room. The glass jugs are refillable and the deposit ($33 each) is fully refundable.
Step 4 โ Stop thinking about water. The jugs are heavy โ about 28 lbs full โ but you don't have to move them. Just lift from the doorstep to the dispenser. The water stays cold in the glass. The family drinks more of it. The plastic case in the pantry is gone.
